Easy Apple Pie Recipe
Make America’s favorite dessert with this easy apple pie recipe.
Filled with fresh apples and spices, this mouth-watering pie has a streusel topping. Best of all, there is no crust to make – this pie makes its own crust as it bakes.
Apples were not native to America when the first settlers arrived. The first apple seeds were brought from Europe to America by the Pilgrims in 1620. In 1730, the first commercial apple nursery was opened on New York's Long Island. Through the years, apple trees were introduced to other parts of the country.
The one thing that used to prevent me from making more apple pies was all the work in peeling the apples. Then I discovered a great, inexpensive invention, the R & M Industries 5920 Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer
that peels, cores and slices the apples in one easy motion. Just put the apple on the spit, turn the crank and PRESTO the apples is peeled, cored and sliced ready for your pie. I have found a good one for just $12.99 and it really works.
Whether it’s a holiday or a regular day, this apple pie recipe will be a hit with your family and friends.
