Easy Brownie Frosting Recipe

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, regular or dark
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
In a medium microwave safe bowl, microwave the butter until melted. Stir in cocoa. With mixer on low speed, gradually add the powdered sugar, alternately with the milk. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat frosting until smooth and good spreading consistency. If frosting is too thick, add a small amount of additional milk. Stir in vanilla. Spread on cooled brownies.
